Meh, Nothing special about this one.Aug 01, 2008 Yep, it is a cute bag and has lots of pockets. The problem is, once you starting putting things in the pockets, it becomes difficult to reach inside the main compartment as the pockets bulge towards the interior of the bag and not out.
I have no idea how a previous poster managed to get a laptop, seven diapers and anything else in this bag. And books? No way.
I'll use this bag for quick trips around town but for day trips, forget about it. We will use the DaddyGear backpack I got for my husband - roomier, more convenient with an outside wipe dispenser, and still stylish.
There is no way I could fit 4 diapers, wipes, changing pad, lotion, a change of clothes, lunch containers, sippy cup and any kind of stuffed animal in this diaper bag without pulling everything out to get to the bottom of the bag.

Our Most Frequently Used Diaper BagJul 17, 2008 Although my son is now a preschooler, we still use this bag when we go to amusement parks (Disneyland, Sea World, etc.) to store extra things in. I don't know about you people, but I have noticed when we go places, there are parents out there who like to dump everything AND their kitchen sink on their strollers! I just find it easier to use this simple bag with the neccessities and just hang it on the stroller! It is very durable, has two pockets for take along cups, side pockets for your cell phone, a zip pocket for your wallet, keys, etc., and a mesh pocket to hold a bottled water! It hangs on the stroller handles and is out of the way when you push the stroller! When it is time to go home and we have to get on a tram or we have have our bags inspected at the front gate, we simply slip it off and we're good to go! i am thinking of getting the smaller version now that my son is older and we need less things.

Finally, the perfect diaper bag!Jun 26, 2008 My husband will tell you I am a diaper bag slut - I have tried many and refused to commit to any ... until now. The Skip Hop Duo Deluxe Uptown is everything I have been looking for in a diaper bag. It is stylish AND convenient. I have an infant and a toddler, and there's room for both their stuff. The water bottle net on the side is perfect for mommy's drink but it can also adjust to fit a sippy cup, the mobile phone pocket is big enough for my smartphone, the changing pad is long enough for my toddler - I could go on and on. All the things that frustrated me in other bags are addressed with this one, and the fact that it snaps right onto the stroller made it perfect because my infant seat makes accessing the basket under the stroller impossible. So settle down for a long-term relationship with this diaper bag; this is THE BAG to own especially if you have two!!

The perfect non-diaper-bag diaper bagJun 20, 2008 This may be the best bag I've ever owned. I recently traveled by plane and found it was large enough to accommodate my 13" laptop, seven extra diapers + wipes (never know how long you're going to be stuck in the airport), two books (one for me, one for my husband), and various other items, all without making the bag bulky (though yes, it was heavy, as you can imagine). Yet, the bag is somehow compact enough that I can use it around town *without* all of those items, and it doesn't look like I'm carrying a giant empty bag around. Should your child decide he wants *you* to hold his beloved stuffed sheep, it'll fit easily inside. For any moms and dads out there returning to school, you can fit a textbook (two if they're slim), notebooks, folders, etc. inside and not worry that it looks like you're using a diaper bag. (FYI, when my laptop is inside, I find my bulky textbook too big to also fit, so I just carry it.)
Perhaps my favorite feature are the two front pockets, miraculously large enough to easily slip a sippy cup in and out of (but, when empty, look just as they do in the picture), thus keeping it upright and spill-free. I also love the two zippered pockets at the top of the bag (I keep my wallet in one of them). I don't use my stroller much anymore (my son is 2 1/2), but I do use the stroller clips on the cart handle at the grocery store. I *love* not having to carry my bag around and having easy access to sippy cups, snacks, etc. that my son may want.

Not worth the hypeMay 19, 2008 I bought this bag because I had read so many fantastic reviews about the Duo, and I liked the sound of the Duo "deluxe" improvements--30% larger, magnetic closures, new shuttle clips (so that you can attach the bag to the stroller without removing the strap), and the shoulder pad.
BUT when my husband brought me the bag home (purchased from a neighbouring town, because Skip Hop does not ship to Canada...BOO!!) I was disappointed with the quality. The zippers could have been a little smoother for one. Secondly, the magnetic closures for the front 2 pockets were not aligned properly and would not stay closed. I was worried that I would lose my stuff from these pockets. I contacted Skip Hop's customer service about this, and they suggested that I exchange the bag at the point of purchase (but we were not able to do so within the time frame allowed by this retailer). Thirdly, I am SORELY disappointed by the "deluxe" change pad! It is of very poor quality. The cheaper Spark by Skip Hop version sold by Target has a far superior change pad, which is waterproof, wipable, and has a higher quality backing material. How Skip Hop can call this new change pad "deluxe" boggles my mind. I contacted customer service in this regard and I was again left cold. To downsize quality and yet apply the name deluxe makes me feel ripped off.
That said, I do love the inner magnetic closure and the choice of colours.
This bag claims to have 11 pockets, but I can only account for 10:
-large outer back pocket for the change pad (boo!), wipes, diapers
-2 front pockets which are large enough for sippy cups
-side cell phone pocket
-side mesh drawstring bottle pocket
-main compartment
-2 pockets within the main compartment (also large enough for bottles)
-2 zippered pockets
