LOVE ITNov 19, 2008 I had been waiting to get my double jogging stroller since my 3rd child was born. I read all the reviews, compared all the brands and then found out about Amazon.com. I made my decision, went to amazon and got the stroller I wanted for over 50%off. This stroller is absolutely wonderful. The seats are great for all my ages, 4,2, and 6 months. They all love to ride and with the swival wheel, anyone can push it easily!! I walk, run and even rollar blade with my stroller. It actually feels like it is pulling me along. The storage basket underneath holds my big diaper/purse bag easily. The wheels go over all types of terrain without any trouble. The sun shield works great and even has an extra plastic pull down shield if it rains and it completely covers the kids.
Dislikes/problems?? Nothing really.
I didn't like that the kids didn't have a snack tray at first, but it has been fine. They have a little strap for drinks and it probably promotes better health without the sncaks while working out? They get a banana when we get done now instead.
I have a soft small basket for keys, water bottle and that works okay.
We did have a samll problem. When we recieved the item there was a small tear in the lining. We called and they gave us two very easy options. Either they would send us a whole new stroller..wow! Or we could just get the seat replaced. Either one was VERY generous!!! It came two days later and worked out great.
So really no true dislikes or problems, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. I would recommend all who are interested should buy this one and USE IT. It is easy, great work out helper and really FUN! No excuse not to at least go out for that walk everyday.
Oh, remember it is a double, so even I was surprised. It barely fits through the doorway, will not fit down any isle in Jc Penny:) It turns on a dime though. It folds nicely but does take up over half of the Sienna van back end still.
I couldn't ask for anything better though and for that price and ease of order, shipping, and even replacement. Go for it!!!

love this stroller!!!!!!!!!! May 17, 2008 we purchased this stroller for the sole purpose of our upcoming trip to disneyworld. we have used it 3 times so far and fell in love with it the moment we put it together. my kids combine weight is 52 pounds and it doesn't feel like they're even in the thing! it turns ONE handed easily with them in it and out of it, it holds a portable potty under the basket, and bag. my 3 yr old loves it,she's 39 inches tall and weighs 29.8 pounds and fits very comfortably wiht tons of room to spare. my 18 month old is content as can be in this stroller which is unheard of in any other stroller usually when big sis is walking she wants to but this she stays in on her own! never once complained! we took it to a fair and wheeled it thru some ditches and over grass/mud, and it was great. we stopped in front of rides and kept getting questions of where we got our stroller. it comes with a wonderful rain shield which we used on mothers day coming out of lowes and it was pouring they were completly inside the rain shield nice and dry. more than i can say about us that were pushing it! it's a must have! if you hvae two kids and use the stroller a lot it's a great product, it goes over any kind of ground with ease. the local zoo is full of exposed roots and it was going over it without an issue! looove this stroller i cannot wait to use it in september in disney world! my 3 yr old also loves to sit on the foot rest cover she likes the option of having 2 seats!

Overall I am happy May 06, 2008 I bought this stroller a week ago and have used it twice. I am a jogger- here are my likes and dislikes:
LIKES:
-Smooth ride
-Console for the parent
-HUGE canopy, & it has a rain canopy that stores in the fabric canopy. The rain canopy covers the whole front when open. {I don't plan on running when its raining, but its good to have when it storms in the middle of a jog :)
-I like the swivel wheel BUT, when I bought this stroller, I thought the swivel was for jogging too, but its not. It will start to fishtail and the whole stroller will violently vibrate if you try and run {or even fast walk} while its on swivel-mode.
-Love the independently reclining seats
-Love the big storage basket under the stroller
-Folds easily
-Fits throught front doors only {not reg. bedroom doors :(
DISLIKES:
-The so-called "adjustable height handle" doesn't pull in-and-out, it only adjusts heights from a joint, raising it up or down. If you notice on the picture, there is red button on the handle. This is what you push in to angle the handle bar.
-I don't like how there's no hand brake. I mean really! I saw cheaper strollers that had this feature! I'm really surprised that Schwinn didn't up its standards just a little on this one.
-I don't like how there's a metal frame on each of the seats. Like the other review, my 3 year old's head is right in the middle of the bar. You think they could've either made the bar higher, or used some sort of tether instead.
-The "5 point harness" is clumsy to use. It's hard to adjust, and I wish it had the same type of straps you would find on a car seat. They just feel cheapy.{Again, I guess you can't expect quality from Schwinn anymore}
-The seats aren't padded very well
-Once its folded up, there's nothing to secure it folded, which means its hard to put in car, put away, etc. The dang thing wants to open back up!!
Overall I don't regret this purchase. It works and the kids are happy when we're outside. I don't think you'll find "the perfect jogger" unless you want to spend $600+.
I bought mine on Ebay actually, and spent only $228! {and that includes s/h!!} And they shipped it within a week {search for "schwinn sc802"}. So make sure you are getting the best deal! Because I've seen this same stroller being sold for $300+!!!

Be Careful! I Wish I Had Known This...May 02, 2008 My husband and I couldn't wait to receive and start using this stroller. We currently own the Free Wheeler single version, so we felt confident ordering the Free Wheeler Double. The product specifications states that the stroller supports 50 pounds per child.
When the stroller arrived, we quickly started putting it together. Our two year old immediately jumped in and wanted to go for a ride. My husband started pushing our two year old and four month old around the kitchen. I couldn't help but notice a HUGE problem right away. Our two year old's head was well over the steel frame of the seat back. It was resting, quite uncomfortably, at the base of his skull.
Our son's height is very average, not tall for his age at all, so this left us scratching our heads. Could the seat backs be raised? Nope. We turned and looked at our four month old. His head already reaches the very top of the seat back. If this stroller is designed for up to two 50 pound children, they must be very short and quite pudgy.
There was one other problem as well. Notice the really nice shoulder support pads sewn into the harness system? They are no longer a feature. This feature was important to us since our baby would need the extra support and padding. The packaging still displays this as an option as well.
I called the manufacturer of this stroller, Pacific Cycle, and spoke with Brenda regarding our findings. She was very unhelpful, rude, and pretty condescending. She stated that there had been a design change, and that we were out of luck with the shoulder harness. She also stated that all of their strollers, Schwinn, InStep...etc. have a standard 17.5 inch seat back. 17.5 inches? Is that a joke? They don't offer a stroller that has higher seats.
I measured the seat back on our year 2007 single model, and it measures a good 20 inches. A pretty significant difference. So, design changes have been made, but for the worse. The company is charging more, while saving money by cheapening their strollers. Bad move.
So now we are stuck trying to return the stroller, but nobody wants to claim responsibility for the problem. So, we are filing a report with American Express.
The good news? Yes, there is some. We found and purchased a GREAT stroller from REI. The staff at REI were all extremely helpful. We purchased a BOB Revolution Duallie Double Jogging stroller and we couldn't be happier. It is considerably more expensive but worth every penny. Our sons can actually use it for years to come. If you want a stroller for a child older than 6 months old, you will need to buy a BOB. Good Luck!!!
