5STOP...GO NO FURTHER this is the one you want!Dec 01, 2007
About 18 months back I was on the look out for a stroller; I wanted durability, a bit of "cross-country" and price control. Now 2 years later I can write this review. I am pleased with the product. My son, now age 4 weighs in about 16kg (36lbs) and is also tall for his age and I believe that the stroller if I needed it could continue to render service until he is 5. My Quest is still going strong even with every day use and in winter months. What is more important for me is that it folds down for trips and has a carry hand-hold so that I can carry it like a piece of luggage. This stroller survived many international flights without any damage in transport. Good.
Physically speaking its handsome, and I particularly like the neon/reflecting light trimmings that runs down the side of the stroller highlighting its presence to passing motorists. The product cost a little more than others but I will assure you to go with a Maclean (Quest) and you would not regret the move.
I bought mine from ToysRUS and was torn between spending $225 (for the sporting version) and the regualar Quest for about $185. I settled for $185. The product never let me down, I run with the stroller on late mornings getting to school, I got caught in rains, I crossed bumps and ragged roads, dirt roads, trail, city roads...you name it!
This stroller is a bit weighty only because I am now thinking about it. However I would like to believe that its the value of its sturdiness that accounts for its weight; I recently used this stroller EVERY day for the past 7-8 months.
Best Buy for my money.

5Love this stroller!Aug 12, 2007
We bought this stroller to take with us to Paris this summer and after six weeks of traveling and touring (it had a lot of hard use) it is still in great shape. This stroller is skinny enough to fit through metro turnstiles and on cramped sidewalks and maneuvers well through store aisles. It is light enough to carry up and down stairs with baby in it, handles well on gravel, cobblestone, and other rougher surfaces, and can easily be folded with one hand. It reclines far enough that our baby could take naps in it (I would recommend getting the pillows that attach to carseat/stroller straps to make sleeping in the stroller more comfortable) and we could change her diaper in the stroller (which we ended up having to do quite a bit). The pull out leg rest extends the seat, so a smaller child can have their feet up all the time. The handles are tall enough that it was never uncomfortable to push, like a lot of umbrella type strollers are. The rain fly came in handy so often and really keeps baby dry, even in a serious downpour. The storage basket was adequate as well. In short, we loved everything about this stroller. We did a lot of research before buying and this was the only stroller we found that had all of these characteristics. We have been so happy and would recommend it to anyone. It seemed expensive when we bought it, but now that we have used it we think it is worth twice what we paid. It is fantastic.

5Great purchaseJul 09, 2007
I loved Mclaren strollers, eventhough they are expensive are the lightest stroller of the market, you cannot get the brand in Mexico, it's easy to handle, I am clumsy and with a one year child and another of 5 you need something to get in the car as easy as you could handle with one hand

5AWESOME STROLLER!!May 20, 2007
This is the greatest stroller. I have tried the Inglesina Zippy (not bad), Silver Cross (had a defect issue and HORRIBLE customer service), and test drove a Bugaboo Cameleon-WAY overpriced, none measure up to the Maclaren Quest. It is lightweight, maneuvers superbly, has all the features you need and none of the ones you do not. I have an eight month old that already weighs 27lbs and is 34 inches long. I needed a stroller that would work for a long time. The handles are high, perfect for me and I am 5'8". The adjustable seat and foot rest are rare on an umbrella type stroller.
