Don't be afraid!Nov 20, 2008 I just got this stroller today, so I want to preface this review by saying that I haven't actually used it outside yet. I was debating about buying this stroller because there were so many negative comments about folding / unfolding it. It really IS NOT hard. I was also concerned about the fact that the seat has to be facing out to fold it up. This also is not a big deal. To get the seat off you just have to push two buttons in and lift it up. The seat itself is really light and easy to move. Here are other things I have found so far:
-It does smell a little bit like new flip flops (in response to the person who said it had a chemical smell). Don't know if that is good or bad but it does have a little smell to it.
-It is heavy.
-It folds up pretty small and does stand on its own when the brakes are engaged.
-It has an AWESOME sun canopy. I am obsessed with my son staying out of the sun during walks, and I know I won't have to worry with this stroller.
Overall, the stroller seems well-made. I am happy with the purchase. And, seriously, don't be afraid of the folding!!
Great Stroller, but......Nov 19, 2008 This is a great stroller. It handles well, looks great, has a HUGE basket, seat reclines all the way, has lots of shade under the canopy. The only negative is unfolding it. I STRUGGLE with it every time! I keep wondering if I'm doing something wrong, but I just can't seem to get it right. Seemed so easy when the guy did it in the store. It's also quite heavy, but I now have great back and arm muscles!! Overall, I would definitely recommend it, but be prepared for a little bit of frustration unfolding it. I also wish it had a parent tray.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!Nov 09, 2008 I love this stroller. Only thing I have to get used to is opening it. This should not discourage you. It folds SUPER easy! My son loves it; I especially love that the seat can flip around. It's perfect for when he falls asleep & I want to keep an eye on him or when its cold out & he can be away from the cold wind. My son is 1yr old & 27lbs & he still has room to move in it. I have suggested this stroller to my friends who have children. I love the look of it!
Even better than I expectedNov 06, 2008 I did an excessive amount of research about strollers prior to my baby's arrival, and this one was the winner. I've been using it for 3 months now and love it. Most of our stroller trips are from home, through our urban neighborhood. We also have limited space at home. I like that it stands up when folded---fits nicely in the closet. It's pretty big for putting in the trunk, but we never really do that anyway, so it wasn't an issue for us.
The wheels handle well on our sometimes-rough sidewalks. Though if you're looking for something that will bounce over every bump with ease, get air-filled tires. This one occasionally gets stuck on some sizes of bumps. MUCH better than the travel system strollers I've seen tooling around the neighborhood, though.
I love that the seat is reversible, the amount of recline is totally customizable, and the canopy can be positioned in any number of ways to block the sun. The big basket underneath and cupholder are also nice. This stroller could almost pass as one of the fancy $800+ strollers, but it's surprisingly affordable.
One tip: read the instructions carefully, and practice the fold/unfold a couple of times. It's not intuitive, but it's not hard once you figure it out the first time. All in all, this stroller is totally worth it!
good for the price!Oct 31, 2008 We wanted a stroller that was reversible and just couldn't bring ourselves to purchase a 400 to 800 dollar stroller. This one is very good for the price. Just be careful that the seat is locked in place. It handles well - I recommend it.
