great strollerSep 24, 2008 this stroller is very nice. lightweight is key, especially when you add two children(20 and 30lbs. to the load:)) i've been able to complete as many as 10 miles with this stroller, so i'm definitely happy with it.
sometimes i find it hard to collapse with just one hand and there was a tiny fraying at the seam on one of the seats when it arrived.
altogether a great stroller though; worth the money. the kids like it too!
Completely SatisfiedSep 10, 2008 I researched many of these strollers some costing $500. I settled on this one and am very happy. It was easy to put together, rolls easily, does not pull. It is quite roomy even for my tall 2 and 3 1/2 year old. The cupholder accessory is very useful, the storage below is adequate. The only issue is the padding or lack of at on the seats. The seats are slung around an aluminim frame. My 3 yo sons head lands right on the frame and he complains immediately. The lower edge of the seat where their thighs rest gets uncomfortable over time. I made some cushions with memory foam and they are very happy.
I am a very picky consumer and would definitely buy this again.
I gave four stars only becuase of the cushioning issue.
big, but smoothJan 18, 2008 My wife and I have recently moved to the shore area in Massachusetts and immediately began looking for one of these sport strollers for the beach. I considered several models and eventually settled on this one partly because we are planning on having another child. Assembly of this model was a snap and the framework is of a very solid construction. My son enjoys his rides and I do as well. The wheels provide a smooth ride over the bumpiest of terrains. It was well worth the buy!

NiceJan 10, 2008 This is a very nice stroller, I got it for around $100.00. If I had paid more though, I would not have kept it. The buckling system is very difficult and not user friendly. The five point harness has a lot of threading and what not and therefore is not easy to use. Not the best buckling system out there and could use fixing. Otherwise, it is a very nice stroller.

2nd Instep double stroller purchase.Oct 09, 2007 This is the upgraded version of the 10K model they used to make. I have had that model for 4 yrs, running with 2 kids and 2 dogs 5 times a week.
I am an avid runner.
I ran it into the ground. I broke off the right side frame lock because I didn't secure it correctly.
The rear suspension is good for other than road terrain, the wheels are a great size for a jogging stroller and I like the fact the front wheel is NOT a swivel- what a pain when running.
Lots of storage for bags/cameras/water btls/blankets.
My kids are 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 and the older one still fits when the seat is in its most upright- fits even better when the seat is reclined some.
My big beef with this new model is the absence of padded seat liners that they used to include on the older models.
This is bogus. They of course sell them for $20 each, but hell, charge me $20-$30 more for the stroller and include them.
I will be calling and complaining to Pacific Cycle about that decision.
I took the old ones off my 10K model, washed them, turned them over and will use them.
That is the reason for the 4 Star instead of 5 Star- without the pads, the seats are not going to be very comfy.
Other than that, the 10K was SOLID and this model is a spitting image. I ran that thing all over, took it hiking, to Disneyland, etc.
Folds up nicely and even flatter if you remove the quick release wheels.
I have no idea why you would want a brake on the handlebars on a stroller. In all the running I have done, up and down major hills I have never, NEVER needed to use the hand brake. In fact I had disconected it on the old model and totally forgot about it.
It is not like you ever get to going the speed of a bicycle and would need that kind of help with braking and I believe your feet are on pavement when running- I tend to use the "Flinstones" method of stopping the stroller.
Fred's method not Barny's, don't be ridiculous.
The stroller is rugged, sturdy, not demasculizing and light.
The canopy is ok, but sun is going to get into their faces when you are running into it. I turn the stroller backwards and run pulling it in these instances. I haven't seen any canopies that would really be much better at sun blockage in early mornings.
A very good value for around $200, just horrible seat pad decision from the manufacturer.
