This was the best purchase we could of made. We love this stroller. It is easy to push and close .it weight is the main reason we bought it and it is awesome. The down part is when you close it there is only a little clip to keep it closed. It also stands funny when closed which is inconvent for storage. All theses things I can deal with because the weight is so light it is worth theses minor inconvencies.

I like this stroller, however, I have to make a few comments about it. This stroller is lighter weight than some of the travel systems (a good thing). I bought it without the carseat, because I needed a stoller with all the "features" but not the bulk and weight. The first thing I noticed was that the basket is not easily accessible if your child is laid back. The basket is pretty deep which is a definite plus, and I think this is the reason it cannot be easily accessed. It does have a feature where you may bring the front of the basket down to make this easier. Another thing is that it does not fold easily with one hand, or unfold easily with one hand. There is a hook you have to hook onto the snack tray to make it stay folded. It's light, so it's usually not an issue with me. The third feature that I noticed is that you have to get used to using the buttons that move the snack tray out of the way to use them quickly. Kind of hard to explain, but you have to push in the two buttons and also slide the tray out at the same time, with your fingers in the way. It's kind of an awkward feature, but I am guessing that they must do that so that the child cannot easily use it. Overall, I do like the stroller and did not think about taking it back because of the above reasons. There is also a bug net, which is useless for us....my son plays with it and it does not cover his legs anyway. I've taken the seat cushion and all that off once to wash it. It did well in the wash, but it did fade a little (mine is brown and black). It took a few minutes to get the thing off and also back together, but overall was not too difficult. This stroller got three stars from me because I think it rates average....I like it but it is probably not the best (to get something better, though, you would probably have to spend a lot more money)

I chose this stroller (it was part of a travel system) and had been quite happy with it because it was lightweight and had a snack tray and a nice sized basket. Unfortunately the lower frame broke on the bottom after only 18 months. I have two older children and have never had a stroller break like this. Graco informed me that it could not be repaired and was out of warranty but they would be very happy to send me a rebate voucher for $$ off a new Graco stroller. I won't be sinking any more money into one of their strollers. It was disappointing.

I bought the Metrolite to replace my Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Stroller. I chose the Quattro Tour Stroller when I was pregnant. It is a wonderful stroller that I have been very happy with, but it is a bit heavy and has become a pain for me (standing at a mere 5 ft 1 in tall) to lift in and out of our SUV. Now that my son is two years old, I thought a lighter stroller would be easier to deal with. However, the lighter weight strollers I found seemed a little too 'compact' for my needs. They seemed to have narrow seats, no trays and very tiny storage baskets. Finally I came across the Graco Metrolight. What I love most about this stroller is that even though it weighs only 17 lbs., it still has all of the features I loved about my original heavy stroller. The Graco Metrolight has a parent tray with two cupholders, a pivoting child tray (allowing my son to climb in and out of the stroller by himself - wonderful for parents of independent toddlers who occasionally make you break a sweat trying lift them into a stroller when they would rather not be in a stroller) with cupholder and snack section, a large storage basket, a 3 position reclining seat, a one-hand-fold feature, and a 3 or 5-point harness. Some features that this stroller offers that my other stroller didn't have are a hight-adjustable handle, a "lower & load" storage basket (you can access the basket even if your child is fully reclined) and this stroller stands up on two wheels when folded up. This is a great feature and makes getting in and out of the car much easier - I no longer have to awkwardly pick the folded stroller up from the ground. I wish this stroller was on the market when I purchased my other stroller. The Metrolite is compatable with the Graco Snugride Infant Carseat. I would recommend it to any parent looking for a lighter weight stroller without having to compromise on any features.
